Historische Hauptstadt Pliska
Das heutige Dorf Pliska war von 681 bis 893 die Hauptstadt des ersten bulgarischen Reiches. Die nur 2 km vom heutigen Ort Pliska entfernte Ausgrabungsstätte ist ein nationales, archäologisches Kulturdenkmal und lässt bei einem Besuch erahnen, wie groß für damalige Verhältnisse, diese Stadt mit Festungsanlage war – immerhin größer als Konstantinopel (heute Istanbul) damals.
The present-day village of Pliska was the capital of the First Bulgarian Empire from 681 to 893. The excavation site, which is only 2 km away from today’s village of Pliska, is a national, archaeological cultural monument and gives an idea of how large this city with fortifications was for the conditions of that time – after all, larger than Constantinople (today Istanbul) at that time.

Wir sind Isa und Markus aus dem schönen Münsterland. Auf unserem Ferienhaus-Grundstück haben wir uns einen kleinen Traum erfüllt und einen Campingplatz erschaffen, der allen die Möglichkeit eröffnet, von dort das schöne Pliska und seine noch schönere und historische Umgebung kennen zu lernen.
We are Isa and Markus from the beautiful Münsterland. On our holiday home property, we have fulfilled a small dream and created a campsite that gives everyone the opportunity to get to know beautiful Pliska and its even more beautiful and historic surroundings from there.
